Lost SAF Helmet or LBS: What to Do

Practical guides for Singapore NSFs and NSMen

A missing SAF helmet or load-bearing system is not an ordinary shopping problem. It is issued protective equipment, and a borrowed or privately bought item does not automatically become an authorised replacement.

The useful first move is to make the gap visible: state what is missing, when it was last accounted for, which places were checked, and whether a course, posting, ICT or mobilisation deadline is approaching. Then get the current unit to identify the replacement owner and the instruction you should follow in the meantime.

This guide is unofficial. It does not decide negligence, theft, charges, payment, replacement priority or training suitability. Current commanders, trainers, unit logistics staff, security instructions and written SAF directions override it.
