SCDF NSF Report-Sick and Referral Guide

Practical guides for Singapore NSFs and NSMen

An SCDF NSF who feels unwell does not have one universal “go hospital” route. The current SCDF guidance separates office-hours care, after-hours care inside the training camp, and care outside SCDF units.

That route matters again when an A&E visit leads to a specialist referral, medical leave or light duty. The hospital handles clinical care. Your SCDF medical and command channels handle the service record and instructions. The billing route is a third question.

This guide is unofficial and is not medical advice. Current SCDF instructions, your officer-in-charge, Medical Officer, treating clinician, appointment documents and written unit directions override it. It does not predict PES, light-duty length, POP participation or vocation.
