CMPB Psychometric Test: What to Expect
The CMPB psychometric test creates a strange kind of anxiety. You answer a question, submit it, and cannot go back. The questions change as you work. Then you leave without a familiar school-style grade.
That does not mean you should guess what the system concluded. Current CMPB guidance explains what the test measures, how the adaptive format works, and how its scores are used. It does not publish a pass mark, a completion threshold, a score-release process, or a guaranteed retest route.
This guide is specifically about the pre-enlistment psychometric test at CMPB's Vocational Assessment Centre. It is not a guide to a separate SPF, SCDF, SAF, scholarship, or Regular recruitment assessment. It is unofficial; instructions from CMPB and staff at the test venue override it.
