Bunk Hygiene Problems: A Practical NS Guide

Shared living turns small habits into group problems quickly. Odour, wet laundry, food waste, dirty common surfaces or missed cleaning duties can affect sleep, morale and health long before anyone knows how to raise the issue.
The best response is proportionate: separate an immediate health concern from a preference, speak privately and specifically, agree on a shared minimum, and involve the chain of command when the problem continues or cannot be handled safely.
