Polyushko-polye
"Polyushko-polye" (Oh, Fields, My Fields) is a famous Soviet song composed by Lev Knipper in 1933 with lyrics by Viktor Gusev. Originally part of a symphony, it became one of the most recognisable Soviet military songs, evoking the image of the Red Army cavalry riding across the vast Russian steppes.
