"Le Chant des Partisans" (The Song of the Partisans) was the anthem of the French Resistance during World War II. Written in 1943 by Joseph Kessel and Maurice Druon with music by Anna Marly, it was originally composed in Russian and then adapted into French. It became a symbol of the fight against Nazi occupation.
